Extension Leads Everywhere, Double Adaptors Stacked Up, Never a Free Socket When You Need One
It’s one of those things you just put up with until you don’t have to anymore. Running extension leads across the floor isn’t just inconvenient, it’s a trip hazard and it puts unnecessary load on circuits that weren’t designed to handle it. Most older homes simply don’t have enough power points for the way people live today and the ones that do exist are often in the wrong spots.
Here’s what we commonly hear from homeowners:
- Not enough power points in the kitchen for all the appliances
- Bedroom has one double power point and nowhere near enough for modern use
- Constantly unplugging things to charge devices no USB outlets anywhere
- Extension leads running across floors and behind furniture
- Outdoor entertaining area with no power
- Home office set up but the power points are on the wrong wall
If any of these sound familiar, adding power points is one of the most straightforward and cost-effective electrical upgrades you can make to your home.
Double Adaptors and Overloaded Circuits Are Not a Long-Term Solution
It’s easy to dismiss a double adaptor or extension lead as harmless. But overloading circuits with too many devices plugged into too few outlets puts real strain on your home’s wiring, and creates a genuine fire risk over time. Beyond the safety concern, it’s just not a practical way to live. Every room in your home should have enough power, in the right places, without workarounds.
Getting proper power points installed is a straightforward fix that makes an immediate difference to how you use your home every single day.

We Handle Everything - From Planning the Layout to the Final Finish
Adding power points sounds simple and when it’s done properly, it is. Here’s exactly how we approach every job:
We work out the best placement with you
Before anything goes on the wall, we talk through where you actually need power not just where it’s easiest to install. The goal is power points that work for how you use the space.
We run cables neatly and out of sight
No surface-mounted conduit running across your walls unless it’s genuinely the only option. We take the time to get cables into the wall properly for a clean, finished result.
We install the right outlets for the job
Standard double power points, USB and USB-C outlets, weatherproof outdoor sockets, dedicated appliance circuits, whatever the situation calls for, we’ll install the right fitting.
We make sure your existing circuits can handle it
Before adding new outlets, we check your switchboard and existing circuits to confirm everything can handle the additional load safely and let you know if anything needs attention first.
We test everything and leave the place tidy
Every new outlet is tested before we leave. We clean up after ourselves and make sure the finished result looks like it was always meant to be there.

Had Integrity Power Solutions out for a sizeable issue at our place. Harrison sorted it without any fuss. Showed up on time, easy to deal with, and explained what was going on. Noticed a couple of smaller problems I hadn't even realised and fixed those too. great service will be calling them next time something goes wrong.Posted on Google![]()

Harrison and Integrity Power Solutions Pty Ltd have been fantastic to work with. I had several electrical matters that I wanted and needed attending to in my home. Harrison provided a courteous and professional initial engagement via email, which then extended through in-person quoting and job completion. Harrison was on time, responsive, knowledgeable and able to offer advice to any relevant query thrown his way. The completed work was completed to a very high standard with all areas (being most rooms in my home) respectfully left tidy after after works were completed. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Harrison and Integrity Power Solutions to undertake any future electrical work that may be required in my home. Thank you for a job well done!Posted on Google![]()

Absolutely 10/10. From the first message he was quick to respond, clear in communication, and very professional. He arrived exactly on time and completed the job to a very high standard. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and wants the result to be perfect. Very polite, very presentable, and a pleasure to deal with. Ready to Stop Living Around Extension Leads?
Book a free assessment with a licensed Perth electrician. We'll sort the right power points in the right spots - installed neatly and done properly.
1. How much does it cost to add a power point?
It depends on where you need it, how the cables need to be routed and whether any additional work is required. We provide free, no-obligation quotes so you know exactly what's involved before committing.
2. Can you add power points anywhere in the house?
In most cases, yes, though some locations are more straightforward than others. We'll let you know upfront if a particular location presents any challenges and talk through your options.
3. Can you install USB and USB-C outlets?
Absolutely. USB and USB-C integrated outlets are a great upgrade no adaptors, no charger blocks taking up space. We can install them wherever it makes sense for how you use the room.
4. Can you add outdoor power points?
Yes. Weatherproof outdoor power points for entertaining areas, gardens, sheds and garages are a popular addition, and we install them to the correct standard for outdoor use.
5. Will you need to cut into my walls?
In most cases, yes, though we keep the work as neat and minimal as possible. Cables are run inside the wall wherever practical and all penetrations are made good before we leave.
6. How long does it take?
Adding one or two power points is usually a couple of hours. Larger jobs with multiple new outlets across the home will take longer. If your home is double storey or has a difficult-to-access roof space, cable runs can be significantly more involved, this will affect the time required and will be quoted separately once we've assessed the job. We'll always give you a clear timeframe and breakdown before any work starts.
